      I assume you had QQ? Nothing wrong here, unless the table is full of nits - most of the time you should be happy to stack off preflop with QQ being 100bb deep in a cash game. The looser the table, the better - if they're only stacking off with AK and QQ+ you have 40% equity with QQ Versus AQ+, JJ+ you have 51,34% equity Vs AJ+, TT+ you have 58,91% equity etc...

    • @RVGambler11
      @RVGambler11 5 месяцев назад

      Yes, I had QQ..first to raise folded JJ...if I'd have just called, then all the money was going in anyway..just a big disappointment to hit top set and get beat..seems like QQ is the hand I often lose with..might just start folding them to any raise..

      @@RVGambler11 sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, that's poker - but I've seen 1/3 players shove 44 or KJo in similar spots so at worst calling here is a breakeven play because of all the dead money in the pot and at best you are printing money with QQ there vs villain's range

      I like both but GTO Wizard definitely has more to offer. You can go deep into any particular hand and analyze it from the GTO perspective, whilst pokersnowie only offered limited insights into each decision. I've played around with pokersnowie a year ago so don't know if they've improved since then, but comparing snowie from then and GTO Wizard from now, snowie is a simple app for beginners, and GTO Wizard is a complex tool for much more experienced players

    GTO is too passive.. for example it tells you to honestly just check whenever you hit nothing, opponent can exploit this honesty and happily force a check fold combo frequently

    • @GokuPoker
      @GokuPoker 11 месяцев назад

      GTO is balanced - your checks cannot be exploited because you also check with very strong hands and medium strength hands so when your opponent bets every time you check, you will be printing EV

    • @TerryWong12345
      @TerryWong12345 11 месяцев назад

      @@GokuPoker I'm not sure, it seems GTO will only defend to the end with very strong hands. When villain bets aggressive enough, it will show no hesitation to give up any strong /medium strength hands. So chance is around 20% or so when you have very strong hands, 80% of the time you have strong /medium /below strength hands. Villain gets away with 80% of the time from stealing, and GTO ambush successfully 20% of the time. So GTO vs aggressive villain win ratio 1:4. In order for this 1 to worth 4 steals, GTO must all in on the river to get max value, when villains sees such strong determination he can give up. imo GTO is only strong when ai can build a statistics of certain players' past history like various ratios to determine what type of player he is to adjust ai's behavior accordingly.

    • @GokuPoker
      @GokuPoker 11 месяцев назад

      @@TerryWong12345 that's an interesting point of view - playing GTO by definition won't lose you any EV no matter what the opponent does because it's unexploitable. That doesn't mean that you should play GTO vs a player you're describing that's just an aggro maniac - in this case, it is indeed better to adjust your strategy and exploit their tendencies. Also, it's obviously impossible to play perfect GTO or near to it as a human because it is way too complex.

    Just got a question guys. Max bet per player is the POT+ the previous bet of the last player sat next to you. If it’s $5 to call and the pot is $35 the max cap Is $40 right. Pot +++ the latest call Is that correct? If I’m not mistaken they are No re raise limits in pot limit variations or games. Omaha dosent have the 3-5 raise limit per round. Pot limit games as a standard don’t use that rule. 2. The buy ins are far larger 200/300BB or 200/300 Antee’s is the minimum. Limit and PoT Limit the max u can take is unlimited there are only a minimum amount you can bring to the table. There is no max buy in in limit and pot limit games only a minimum and they are generally 2-3 bigger than regular standard buy ins. Omaha can be played most commonly In Pot Limit or fixed Limit Blinds or Antee’s. They are 3 variations on this games. PLO 4 Cards PLO 5 Cards PLO 6 Cards You can play 4-5-6 Card versions. I have heard of PLO5 Somewhere.

      @@GokuPoker I feel like by betting we basically say, "hey dude, this card somehow affects me in quite a way" and thats pretty bad, if we ever called his 3bet pre with a speculative hand like suited connector, we wouldnt randomly start bluffing on the turn like that ever. If we check the chance is high that he bets even if he has no Ace because he wants to represent the card that we actually have. He can also have Low aces that we all hard dominate. He also might double barrel bluff on turn and river with hands like KQ that blocks the best of the aces in AK and AQ. On the river he could use that to give us a really hard time if we have called his pre3 bet with a hand like A10s.

    13:45 those are all folds, UTG is shoving into many stacks that cover him/her and you have less than him, meaning he/she should be shoving tight, not wanting to bust before you. This is always my first thought when deciding on ICM calls - how much pressure does the initial all-in player have - in this case he/she has a lot of pressure, meaning you've gotta tighten up as well, despite having only 5bbs.
